Giant Squid Caught

A giant 34 feet long squid has been defrosted and will be examined by scientists at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa. The examination, read dissection, is being broadcast live over the net.

The squid was caught by fishermen off the coast of Antarctica when it got netted while feeding on Chilean sea bass. The fishermen froze the squid and gave it to the Museum.
