Shaolin Temple Grand Master Arrested For Tax Evasion

Qin Xiping The self-professed 34th Grand Master of the Shaolin Temple may be good at martial arts, but he should have left the art of tax evasion to the pros.

Qin Xiping, the founder of the All Japan Shaolin Temple Qigong Association, was arrested Wednesday for failing to pay 38 million yen (around $367,688) in taxes, an accusation he denies.

According to the Association's website, Qin was chosen to be the 34th Grand Master in 1980 because of "his unusual ability and achievements."
