Why Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins Will Suck
A new Terminator trilogy is in the works thanks to Warner Bros. called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. The pic is slated for a May 22, 2009 release. Christian Bale has been casted as the rebel leader John Conner, with Sam Worthington playing a character named Marcus.
The story line takes place in a future where a nuclear holocaust unleashed by the super computer Skynet has destroyed much of humanity
All that sounds nice, but don't hold out hope that the movie will be any good. 1) Mostly likely Arnold Schwarzenegger, the star of the previous three Terminator movies, will not be involved. While Christian Bale is an awesome actor, he's no Arnold. 2) Most important of all is that James Cameron is not involved. The movie will be directed by McG. McG is no James Cameron.

I have a hunch Salvation WILL
I have a hunch Salvation WILL be dissapointing. Why? You cant make an end of the world apocalyptic movie where humans are being exterminated and make it PG-13. That is so stupid. They are trying to make a movie using an R rated plot and delute it using PG elements. That is like trying to do a hardcore porn movie rated R. It just doesent make sense and no one watching will be satisfied. I am tired of watching all these PG-13 mediocre movies where the action falls short because the studio doesent want to put any violence that could offend minors and hope they can fill all available seats in the theaters. I am a Terminator fan and because of the PG13 rating I will NOT go see this movie in the theaters and will wait until a friend buys it in blueray and see it without paying a single $ to watch it. Since the studio is trying to screw fans with the rating, I am going to screw them by not going to pay to see it.

I agree, the first was still
I agree, the first was still my best. This one did kind of leave me wondering what happened. I thought when they took out skynet that would sort of start setting the world back to order. However, they only took out one skynet site and were merrily off to take out the rest of them worldwide. Sequels I guess?????
