"Terminator 4" Goes Forward Despite Strike Threat

The producers of the fourth "Terminator" movie is betting that there won't be an actors strike come this July or else the work stoppage will result its budget ballooning (currently estimated at $150 million) and its release date pushed.

According to Reuters, the movie began shooting this Monday in New Mexico. Since the typical movie usually complete their shoot in 60 days, the filmmakers will either have to work fast or pray the actors guild and the studios can come to an agreement before their current contract ends on June 30.

As things stand now, the talks are not going well. Their last bout of negotiations ended without any deals being struck. They may come together again to hammer something out on May 28.
