An 18-month-old boy fell out from a third-story window and survived. Good thing he wasn't potty trained.

Caua Felipe Massaneiro fell out of his third-story apartment in Brazil and because his diaper caught a security spike on his way down, the impact of the fall was lessen.

From the Associated Press article,

"The boy dangled from the spike for a moment, then "the diaper opened and the baby fell to the ground, but at a much slower speed," a police officer said. "The diaper obviously lessened the impact of the fall and saved the baby's life."

He wasn't unharmed though. He had to be treated for minor fractures.
